MEET DR. JOHN PETRAGLIA, M.D.
Board-Certified Anesthesiologist and Pain Management Specialist. Educated at the State University of New York at Brooklyn, Dr. Petraglia completed his Anesthesiology Residency with special training in Pain Management and Cardio-Thoracic Anesthesia at the famed New York Hospital, Cornell-Weill Medical Center.

REHABILITATION MEDICINE
Our rehabilitation and physical therapy involves the restoration of proper joint function of the spine or extremities, and the strengthening of supporting muscles and soft tissues. Programs of stretching, resistance training, and exercises are combined to improve muscle tone.

Dr. Petraglia shares these stories of chronic pain affliction through the vignettes of characters that may suffer similar conditions in order to provide learning and direction to the reader. Dr. Petraglia attended medical school at the State University of New York at Downstate Medical Center and performed his residency at the New York Hospital Cornell-Columbia Medical Center. He currently has an active practice in all aspects of pain management, is published in other medical journals and is involved in weekly support group education to help those who suffer in pain better understand the proper usage of medications.
